5 Steps to Report

Identify

Review your records for unclaimed property that your business may be holding.

Notify

Send a letter of due diligence to the owner at the last known address that you have on file.

Collect

For the owners that you were unable to locate, collect any additional information such as social security numbers, birth dates, and property types. This will help us find the rightful owner(s) for the property.

Prepare

Use one of the following options to prepare your report:

  • Online Report – Enter your information using our website or create a file in NAUPA Standard Electronic File Format using an unclaimed property reporting service such as HRS Pro, UPExchange, FSITrack, Tracker, etc. Click here to download free holder reporting software from the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators’ (NAUPA).

File

Online submission is required.  Upload your report to our website. Pay online.
