Little Rock, Ark – The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) has released the results of its Executive Committee election in which Arkansas Auditor of State Andrea Lea has been elected to the position of Senior Vice President.
NAUPA is a professional organization with the purpose of promoting and strengthening interstate cooperation of unclaimed property administrators and to enhance states’ return of unclaimed property to rightful owners. All 50 states, the District of Columbia, and numerous territories are members of the organization.
“Returning money to Arkansans is not just a job duty, it’s a commitment I am serious about keeping. I am honored to have been elected among my peers and look forward to fostering an open exchange of information and ideas among unclaimed property professionals and administrators,” said Lea.
Lea’s term begins January 1, 2018 and will conclude December 31, 2018.
